Ann-Collette McLaughlin

Ann-Collette is a registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council. She has gained qualifications and studied at both graduate and post graduate/masters level obtaining a BA (Hons) at De Montfort University and a postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy at University of Brighton.  With a background in ballet, she has specialist qualifications in dance and fitness.

She has gained significant experience working as a manager and a senior clinician within both the NHS and the private sector.   She has an in depth working knowledge and specialist training within a variety of clinical areas, including acute adult mental health, old age psychiatry, palliative care, dementia, elderly residential and nursing care, as well as forensic psychiatry.

She recently took up the position as the clinical lead occupational therapist for Runwood Homes and leads the occupational service based in Northern Ireland.  In recognition of the immediate impact of this cutting edge service, she was immensely proud on behalf of the Runwood Group, to receive the ‘Innovation in Clinical Excellence Award’ at the Staff Nursing Care Awards 2018.
