Residents at Silvanna Court in Wickford, Essex, had a brilliant time on one of their recent outings to the local bowling alley.

Staff arranged for residents to visit a local bowling alley in Basildon, Essex, and to go for a celebratory Chinese buffet afterwards.

Residents really got involved with the bowling, and with a little assistance from staff members and  the bowling ramp, they were on their way. The ramp can be used standing or seated, and the bowler only need give the slightest push to roll the ball forward, which is great for our residents to be able to use.

Silvanna Court is an 83 bedroom residential care home situated in Wickford, Essex. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia. Silvanna Court has recently benefited from a renovation project to include a newly decorated and furnished reception area, a brand new cafe, and a cinema room for residents to enjoy.
