Tallis House helping to bridge the generation gap

Our residents at Tallis House care home in Waltham Abbey enjoys regular visits from Hillhouse CofE Primary School.

As part of Runwood Homes initiative to link with our local communities, enabling residents to engage and feel part of their community, we are regularly visited by the adorable and well behaved children of Hillhouse CofE Primary School.

Pictured here, together the residents and children are enjoying colouring, completing activity books and reading. The initiative both benefits the school pupils, helping to bridge the generation gap, encouraging children to connect with elders.

Tallis House care home in Waltham Abbey, Essex, is a 101 bedroom care home practising ‘person-centred’ care for all our residents, including those living with dementia.
