Residents, staff and friends of Tallis House care home in Waltham Abbey, Essex, have been knitting pouches for injured animals in Australia, following the dreadful bushfires the country has experienced. The knitters have united to create shelters for young wildlife, such as kangaroos, koalas, possums and wombats, who have been left without homes, and need pouches to help with their recovery and growth. Tallis House are very proud to be part of the global crafting effort, initiated by the Australian-based Animal Rescue Craft Guild.
Tallis House is a 101 bed care home situated in Waltham Abbey, Essex. This spacious home provides expert care for older people, including those living with dementia.
