Windle Court residents build community connections in South Woodham Ferrers

Windle Court’s local community connections are continuing to grow creating a great sense of involvement and belonging for our lovely residents.

The South Woodham Ferrers based care home, providing 24 hour expert care for older people including those living with dementia, were visited this week by pre-schoolers from Twizzle Tops Day Nursery at Marsh Farm, pictured here! Together they enjoyed producing arts and making faces with play dough.

Windle Court also has connections to Holy Trinity Shared Church in South Woodham Ferrers who visit the home and also offer a special service for those living with dementia at the church. The professional care team at Windle Court recently teamed up with the church for an interactive dementia training session. Residents receive visits from other children and their registered childminder too! The young energy fills the room and helps to keep spirits lifted at Windle Court.
