Windle Court host a Summer Fate, complete with ice cream truck, a singer and a BBQ

Our brilliant staff and carers pulled out all the stops at Windle Court in August to celebrate the summer in style with their summer fate. Complete with an ice cream van, a BBQ and even a singer, residents were able to relax and enjoy themselves. Outdoor activities encourage simulation and conversations between residents and guests from the local community too, and these are regularly arranged by our Wellbeing Leads.

Staff at Windle Court said, "Everyone had a great time, and the weather even held out for us too! The singer was brilliant, and the ice cream truck was a refreshing treat, but the BBQ was hands-down the biggest winner amongst the residents.”

Windle Court is a homely 76 bedroom care home situated in the welcoming residential area of South Woodham Ferrers, near to Chelmsford, Essex.
