Windle Court residents stay busy during tools down and with various activities.

Residents at Windle Court care home in Chelmsford, Essex, have been keeping busy during ‘tools down’ and other activity sessions.

Residents and staff at Windle Court have recently been getting together for herb planting sessions to try and grow some home-herbs which can be used in cooking the meals for the home. Residents love getting involved in activities like this, and it allows them to feel a sense of accomplishment.

During ‘tools down’, a company-wide initiative which aims to create bonds between staff and residents every day, some people got together to play a lovely game of cards.

The Windle Court Gents Club have continued to get together, proving to be a great social activity for the gentlemen in the home. And who doesn’t like a little flutter? Similarly, the ladies of Windle also got together to try their hand at cupcake making, and it went down a treat.
