Update from Windle Court care home in South Woodham Ferres, Essex.

Staff at Windle Court have been keeping residents busy and on their feet with a Vegas themed Elvis impersonator, a knitting club, bingo and a summer fete!

Residents had a lovely time at the homes first knitting club, which was a complete success. They were able to chat together and share designs, whilst having some tea and biscuits.

Windle Court was also treated to a Voice of Vegas entertainer, Anthony Myers, who brought his best Elvis impersonation. Staff said, “It was a terrific afternoon that everyone enjoyed.”

Staff at the home also arranged a game of Bingo, which was very much enjoyed by residents. The numbers were called out and shown on the homes big screen for everyone to see and follow along with. It was just like being back in the much loved bingo halls!
