Staff and residents at Windmill House have been keeping busy over September - from their weekly Walking Group, to a beach themed party, to a brand new Mother and Baby Group.
Their weekly Walking Group, which encourages members of the public to join residents for some light exercise, has grown in popularity and support, from both volunteers and relatives. They enjoyed a lovely walk through a local park, picking blackberries, having a sing-a-long together, followed by enjoying tea and biscuits. Residents also enjoyed a beach theme party, complete with props and decorations, where they enjoyed treats with friends and family. Windmill House also hosts a Mother and Baby morning, in which mothers from the local community bring their children in to socialise with residents and each other on a regular basis. With soft play equipment and drinks and sweet treats, it was a delightful visit for all those involved, and will continue to happen every second Tuesday of the month.
